So Long, Sheakers!

3 Jul

It’s taken me weeks and weeks (and weeks) but I finally got through all the photos from Dave and Stef’s going away party. I’ve mentioned before how Dave and Stef are moving to Reno so Stef can become Dr. Stef. They are such an integral part of our lives that it’s hard for me to even imagine not seeing them regularly. It’s also hard on Anthony who has spent countless hours at the gaming table drinking Mountain Dew with Dave.

Stef’s family has been a part of our lives, too, but I know we’ll still gather at Pam and Steve’s when they come for a visit. Pam pretty much saved my wedding for me by making me lace gloves at the last minute when the lady who made my dress forgot to. I’ve eaten countless burgers cooked by Steve he’s given me many a New Year’s glass of champagne.

Mom Mom stayed with the baby so Anthony and I could enjoy ourselves.

It’s not a party until Justin and I take a photo of each other!

We were there carefree without baby but there was one adorable little muffin in attendance.

I admit he made me miss the Squirtle.

lt’s amazing how other people’s family becomes a part of your family.

Other people’s cats become your cats, too.

Dave and Stef are family. I’m going to miss them so much.

(Hey, Voltaire peeps! More party photos can be found here.)
