Home Movies: Summer

26 Sep

As much as I am looking forward to scarf weather and crisp autumn breezes to cool the temperatures down, I’m going to miss spending so much time with Isobel on the patio. It really became another room in our house for her. Boredom could always be temporarily assuaged by a stint outside.

I took this video earlier in the summer when I was still on vacation. One of her favorite things to do is to run her hands through a box of birdseed and feel the texture of the different grains. I’m so glad I recorded simple things like just being outside together. When it’s cold and foggy out in January Isobel and I will watch this and smile.
