    Whoa! I grew up and still live in more northern climes; I can’t help but say “whoa” at cactus-type plants that grow outside. I can see their beauty, I really can – but you’ve gotta admit, they’re kinda scary looking plants too.

    I’ve never been scared of the aloe, but growing up my parents had a large hill covered in cactus that frightened me. Now I love them.
